David, I heard your comments on OPB the other day regarding your commitment to child abuse cases. I used to work in Tom McCall’s office years ago, so am familiar with some of the legislative hurdles one must mount in order to get good works accomplished. I am heartbroken time and again when I hear about child abuse cases and have been lost as to where to personally start to attempt to make a difference. I am particularly interested in seeing more protection in children’s rights. Would you be open to meeting with an associate of mine and me to discuss some options you may advocate? Thanks so much.
